What do you get?
The review pack had 3 of these “super-heavy tanks” in it showing each of the turret variants: tank gun, gatling and particle cannon. Apart from the distinctive gun barrel style the models are identical to my eye. The tank comes in 3 pieces and includes a choice of turret top weaponry: a rocket pack or some sort of multi-barrelled gun.
All the pieces are very sharply sculpted and cast with only very fine mould lines and a few air-vent runs that are easily scraped off. The place where the hull has been snipped off the sprue is a bit more noticeable but again is easily trimmed flat with a craft knife.
Good quality white metal has been used so that even someone as ham fisted as me can straighten out gun barrels without them snapping off. The pieces fit together perfectly and although I guessed at the smaller part of the double hull being the front the Brigade website shows it is intended to be the other way round. I think it looks good either way.
The final word.
A distinctive and yet realistic looking vehicle and minimal work needed to get it onto the tabletop sporting whatever camouflage scheme you decide to apply for your own Neo Soviet army.
