What do you get?
The Superfigs range started in late 2000 with a steady range
that has grown extensively over the last ten years. Sent in
for review were a variety of figs generously donated by Scott
Pyle.

The figures average in on the larger side of what we call that
28mm scale.

As can be seen in the photos opposite the scale figure the figures tend to be larger or, dare I say it, superheroic.
Some of the figures had a bit of a pronounced mold line but all details were still clean, with no defects.
Sculpting follows the details of typical four color comic heroes with a taste for Golden Age heroes with plenty of spandex.
The final word.
A variety of sculpts to fill a wide gap of superhero needs. Some sculpts appear a little dated in their style with a few having soft details by comparison to modern sculpts. Overall the range fully fleshes out the Supersystem game that accompanies but also runs beyond and several of the figures can be used for a variety of games. It is a well priced range which I see as more than having a figure value to the dollar. The range well captures comic book heroes of the style seen in the 70s through the 80s in that it captures the nature of villains being villainous and heroes being well, heroic. The range has 126 different packs as well as thirty civilian figures broke up into packs of ten each. More than enough to populate any comic book based adventures a gamer might cook up. The figures that Scott Pyle donated and pictured in this review have been painted up by myself and will be going to auction for charity.
